Ashleigh Finzel's journey into the legal world could be described as anything other than conventional. Before finding her stride as a seasoned paralegal, she first pursued a culinary path, completing an apprenticeship and earning full chef qualifications. After realising that hospitality wasn’t her long-term calling, she turned back to study, beginning a Diploma of Accounting which she quickly discovered wasn’t for her. From there, it was a family member undergoing law studies who nudged Ashleigh towards her true passion. Pointing out her innate ability to navigate out of tricky situations on a technicality, they encouraged her to explore law further. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws from USC and a GDLP from the College of Law.
Throughout her career, Ashleigh has gained proficiency in various legal domains, including Personal Injury, Family Law, and Property as well some work in litigation and QCAT matters. Today, Ashleigh thrives in the dynamic realm of Succession Law at Bradley & Bray, where she works closely with Peter Griffin.
Ashleigh enjoys an active lifestyle, participating in soccer, pickleball and other fitness activities to stay healthy. When she's not working, you will find her enjoying outdoor adventures and relaxing at the beach.
