Safe Custody Manager

Lisa Van Moolenbroek brings a wealth of experience to her role as Safe Custody Manager at Bradley & Bray. Her career began in Mackay, where she started as a legal office junior. Over the years, she has worked in various areas of law across multiple firms. At her last long-term firm in Mackay, Lisa excelled as a Debt Collection Paralegal and team leader, assisting with support staff recruitment and mentoring the litigation secretarial team.

Following her time in law, Lisa spent three years at Mackay Base Hospital, taking on various administrative positions, both full-time and as a casual relief. Her career journey then led her to Brisbane, where she worked in large corporate firms for over a decade. In January 2022, Lisa decided to "retire" to the Sunshine Coast, but her passion for her work soon brought her back. She began working at Bradley & Bray in January 2023, initially on a casual basis with the Welsh & Welsh safe custody project. With her extensive background in law, strong administrative skills, and her warm and kind personality, Lisa quickly became an invaluable member of the team and was invited to take on the part time role of Safe Custody Manager.

Lisa holds Diplomas in both Human Resources and Business, enhancing her expertise and ability to manage her responsibilities effectively. She is known for her helpfulness to clients and her empathetic nature, always ensuring that they feel listened to and supported.

Outside of work, Lisa treasures every moment spent with her four grandchildren in North Queensland, spoiling them with love and her undivided attention. She has a passion for exploring new places and revisiting her favourite destinations, particularly in Europe. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants and trying different cuisines. In her down time, Lisa loves yoga and walking, especially along Coolum Beach, and enjoys discovering new areas of the coast and hinterland. An avid reader, Lisa also delights in finding a tranquil spot under a tree with a scenic view and getting lost in a good book.
